Do Retirement Experts Follow Their Own Advice

April 22.  Welcome, to this week's newsletter.  We hope you are enjoying the spring that finally seems to be coming to the northern part of the U.S. In next week's issue: the summary of responses to our "Where Singles Are Retiring" article.
Rather than one specific town, the Valley is actually a very scenic region with many towns including Harlingen, McAllen, and Brownsville  It's in very southern Texas near the Gulf and the Rio Grande.

In this, Part 2 of our retirement experts series, we review their answers to our final 4 questions. We think you'll enjoy the insight into what they are doing about long term care insurance, aging in place, how well they followed their own advice, plus their best advice for someone about to start retirement.

This could be our favorite town for retirement in the Nutmeg state. There are beaches, the Connecticut River, historic charm, an interesting downtown, and low-key neighborhoods near the beach.

No one wants to think about it, but we baby boomers are becoming more susceptible to strokes. Knowing the warning signs and what to do  if you see them can make a huge difference in the outcome.
Forward this to a friend.   If you have friends thinking about retirement, please forward them this newsletter. They can get their own subscription to this free weekly "Best Places" newsletter, the Daily Digest, and the East and West New Community newsletters by going to our Newsletter sign up page.
